The Cirqa smart band is currently only identified by name, as no images of the device have been released. However, its listing as a Garmin product is encouraging news. The band reportedly ‘displays Health Status in Garmin Connect only’.
This suggests the fitness tracker will not have a screen, similar to the Google Fitbit Air, requiring users to access the Garmin Connect app on their phones to view the tracked data.
Garmin Rumours
The Health Status feature provides a comprehensive overview of general health by integrating five key metrics: heart rate, heart rate variability, respiration, skin temperature, and pulse ox.
According to Garmin, “It measures your typical ranges for several key health metrics and lets you know if your current status is within range or out of range,” and it will require 3-4 weeks to properly calibrate.
Lots left to learn
This is not the first time Garmin has inadvertently mentioned the Cirqa. The device was previously listed in January, revealing Black and French Gray as its color options.
While the release date is anticipated for July, many details about the smart band, including its specifications, features, and design, remain undisclosed.
