is thrilled to announce the nomination of one of our former contributors, Paul Ingrassia, to lead the United States Office of Special Counsel (OSC)! This is a development that can only be described as both intriguing and indicative of the ongoing political reshuffling.
According to the OSC’s official website, this office is tasked with investigating and prosecuting instances of government and political corruption, while also safeguarding the rights of government employees and whistleblowers. A noble cause, indeed, albeit one that often finds itself navigating the murky waters of political allegiance.
Ingrassia departed from the Gateway Pundit earlier this year to take up the role of White House Liaison to the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security. His prior experience as a writer, particularly his passionate advocacy for the January 6th detainees, appears to have resonated with President Trump, who appreciated Ingrassia’s well-researched and compelling articles.
A self-proclaimed free speech absolutist, Ingrassia embodies the “America First” ethos. He is set to face a Senate Hearing, spearheaded by Rand Paul, in the coming months. One can only hope that the specter of RINO (Republican In Name Only) opposition does not rear its head to thwart his ambitions of “Making America Great Again.”
President Trump took to Truth Social to express his enthusiasm for Ingrassia’s nomination, declaring:
I am pleased to nominate Paul Ingrassia to head the United States Office of Special Counsel (OSC). Paul is a highly respected attorney, writer, and Constitutional Scholar, who has done a tremendous job serving as my White House Liaison for Homeland Security. Paul holds degrees from both Cornell Law School and Fordham University, where he majored in Mathematics and Economics, graduating near the top of his class. Congratulations Paul!
It seems that Ingrassia has attracted President Trump’s admiration, with frequent re-Truths of his work. Now, he will serve as a key player within Trump’s Justice Department, a role that comes with its own set of challenges and expectations.
Ingrassia, known for his unwavering loyalty to Trump, takes over from Hampton Dellinger, who was reluctant to vacate his position following Trump’s inauguration. Dellinger eventually concluded his legal battles and stepped down in March.
Ingrassia is poised to bring a distinct perspective to the Office of Special Counsel. Congratulations are in order for Paul!
UPDATE: Paul expressed gratitude to President Trump on social media later in the day.
It’s the highest honor to have been nominated to lead the Office of Special Counsel under President Trump! As Special Counsel, my team and I will make every effort to restore competence and integrity to the Executive Branch — with priority on eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse… pic.twitter.com/NWY0kkNY5e
