Donald Trump Under Fire for Controversial Comments Towards Women
Donald Trump is no stranger to making controversial and insulting remarks towards women. Throughout his presidential campaign in 2016, he faced backlash for his derogatory comments towards Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, accusing her of having “blood coming out of her wherever” after she questioned him about his past remarks calling women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.
This is not the first time Trump has used derogatory language towards women. Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado accused Trump of calling her “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping” after she gained weight following her crowning in 1996. Machado also claimed that Trump would frequently criticize her appearance, telling her she looked “ugly” and “fat.”
Despite facing criticism for his offensive remarks, Trump has not backed down from his comments. In fact, he defended his use of the word “piggy” towards Machado, suggesting that she should “learn how to be a reporter.”
Trump’s history of making derogatory comments towards women has sparked outrage and condemnation from many, with critics calling out his behavior as sexist and demeaning. As the former President continues to face backlash for his controversial remarks, it remains to be seen if he will face any consequences for his offensive language towards women.
