Former President Trump announced on Tuesday that the peace efforts regarding Gaza “ARE FAR FROM OVER.”
“ALL TWENTY HOSTAGES HAVE RETURNED AND ARE DOING AS WELL AS CAN BE EXPECTED. A significant weight has been lifted, but the task IS FAR FROM COMPLETE,” Trump stated on Truth Social shortly after arriving back from his visit to Israel and Egypt, where he celebrated the cease-fire agreement that resulted in the release of all living hostages held by Hamas.
“THE FALEN ONES HAVE NOT BEEN RETURNED, AS AGREED! Phase Two starts IMMEDIATELY!!!”
Trump’s proposed 20-point peace initiative insists on the disarmament of Hamas, the establishment of a transitional government, and the deployment of international peacekeeping forces.
