Geely Auto, a leading automotive manufacturer, has announced a strategic partnership with Jameel Motors to introduce its new energy vehicles (NEVs) in the Polish market. This collaboration signifies a significant milestone as it marks the first time that Polish consumers will have access to Geely Auto’s cutting-edge NEV lineup, tapping into Poland’s rapidly growing electric vehicle market.

The Polish electric vehicle market has been experiencing a surge in popularity, with a notable 41% year-over-year increase in battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in February 2025. Geely Auto and Jameel Motors aim to capitalize on this trend by offering Polish drivers innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.

As part of this partnership, Jameel Motors will initially distribute two models from Geely Auto’s NEV range: the Geely EX5, a next-generation electric SUV, and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) from the C-SUV segment. These new energy passenger vehicles are built on the GEA (Global Intelligent Electric Architecture) platform, renowned for its innovative design and advanced safety features. The first model is expected to be available for sale in the third quarter of 2025.

Jasmmine Wong, CEO of Jameel Motors, expressed excitement about expanding their new energy vehicle portfolio, stating, “By offering Polish drivers more freedom and flexibility in personal mobility, we are actively supporting the country’s transition to greener mobility. We are proud to collaborate with Geely Auto, a company known for setting new benchmarks in automotive technology and sustainability.”

Geely Auto, with a presence in over 80 countries and sales exceeding 2.17 million vehicles in 2024, is committed to innovation. The company boasts a team of more than 30,000 engineers across R&D centers in China, Sweden, and the UK, focusing on cutting-edge technologies. Geely Auto recently launched the first ‘Intelligent Vehicle AI’ technology system, showcasing its dedication to advancing automotive technology.

Moe Wong, Geely Auto International vice president, emphasized the significance of the partnership with Jameel Motors, stating, “This collaboration not only creates value for our customers, teams, and shareholders but also contributes to elevating Poland’s automotive industry by introducing high-quality, intelligent, and sustainable vehicles to the market.”

In addition to the Polish market entry, Geely Auto has expanded its reach into the Vietnamese market with the Coolray SUV as part of its broader Southeast Asia expansion strategy. The company’s commitment to introducing innovative and sustainable vehicles in emerging markets underscores its position as a global leader in the automotive industry.

Overall, the partnership between Geely Auto and Jameel Motors represents a significant step towards offering Polish consumers access to advanced NEVs and supporting the country’s transition to greener mobility. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, Geely Auto continues to set new standards in the automotive industry, driving the future of electric mobility forward.
