Brokenthrone, a Telegram user, has provided Android Authority with insights into a new experimental feature called Device Help, which is reportedly being developed within the Gemini app.
The concept behind this feature is to simplify troubleshooting by allowing users to describe their phone issues to Gemini in natural language, bypassing the often complex Settings menu. Gemini would then identify and implement a solution.

An example illustrates a Pixel user telling Gemini that “My screen is too yellow,” prompting Gemini to check the device’s settings and suggest that the Night Light feature may be responsible.
The noteworthy advancement here is that Gemini seems to directly access Settings instead of merely offering generic advice for users to follow.
Currently, the feature is under the Labs label, indicating it is still in development. We will be monitoring its progress, as it has the potential to be quite beneficial.
Following Google’s recent email announcement that Google Assistant will be phased out starting September 4 (with the process possibly taking several weeks to complete), it is anticipated that Gemini will further integrate into the Pixel experience.
