A Telegram user known as Brokenthrone has shared information with Android Authority about a new experimental feature called Device Help, which is reportedly being developed in the Gemini app.
This feature aims to simplify the troubleshooting process by allowing users to describe their phone issues in plain language to Gemini, which then seeks to identify and implement a solution, bypassing the often complex Settings menu.

An example provided shows a Pixel user mentioning to Gemini, “My screen is too yellow.” In response, Gemini checks the device’s settings and informs the user that the Night Light feature may be causing the issue.
Notably, this represents a significant advancement, as Gemini seems to directly access the device’s settings instead of offering generic advice for users to act upon.
Currently, the feature is labeled as part of the Labs section, indicating it is still in development. This development is being closely monitored, as it holds potential for substantial user benefits.
With Google’s recent email confirmation that Google Assistant will be phased out starting September 4 (although this transition may take some weeks to complete), it is anticipated that Gemini will become increasingly integrated into the Pixel user experience.
