George Clooney Gives Up Kissing Scenes with Julia Roberts Due to Amal and Kids’ Surprise Visit

George Clooney recently opened up about a hilarious incident that occurred on the set of his upcoming film with Julia Roberts, where his wife Amal and their 8-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, unexpectedly showed up during a kissing scene.

In an interview in October 2022, the Up in the Air star shared, “Working with Julia is easy. We have a really easy relationship, so everything’s comfortable, it’s funny. I mean, it was funny when the kids came by.”

Julia Roberts was taken aback by the surprise visit of George’s family, exclaiming, “They came!” upon seeing Alexander and Ella on set.

As the scene was about to commence, Clooney recounted, “Amal and the kids showed up. Literally, it was like, ‘Okay, and so we’re all set, so guys sit down.’ We sit down for the scene where we’re going to be kissing, and it’s like ‘Papa,’ the children shouted to their dad.

Roberts humorously remembered the moment, saying, “I was like, abort the mission, it’s not happening,” as they tried to navigate the situation with the kids present.
