An immigrant from the UK, who was a career criminal accused of a violent killing spree in Georgia that resulted in the deaths of a Department of Homeland Security employee and two others, died in jail on Tuesday night, authorities reported.

Olaolukitan Adon-Abel, 26, was found deceased in his jail cell. Despite attempts by authorities to save his life, he was declared dead, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

The cause of his death remains unknown, but officials stated there is no suspicion of foul play, and an internal review will be conducted.

Adon-Abel, a convicted felon who became a naturalized US citizen under the Biden administration while serving in the Navy, allegedly shot and stabbed DHS auditor Lauren Bullis, 40, as she walked her dog “Sancho” around 7 a.m. on April 13.

The violent spree began hours earlier outside a Checkers restaurant on Wesley Chapel Road in DeKalb County, where the suspect reportedly shot Prianna Weathers, 31, around 1 a.m., according to police.

He then allegedly drove about 16 miles before shooting Tony Mathews, 49, who was homeless and sleeping outside a Kroger grocery store in Brookhaven at approximately 2 a.m.

Several hours later, Adon-Abel allegedly shot and stabbed Bullis about 15 miles away, authorities stated.

Bullis’ husband, Jimmie, was reunited with their dog, which ran off after the attack, he previously told The Post.

Adon-Abel’s roommates informed the Associated Press that a heated argument over air conditioning led him to storm out before the killing spree.

The accused killer, naturalized in 2022 while serving in the Navy in San Diego, had an extensive criminal history before the murders, according to DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin.

“He possesses a prior criminal record that includes convictions for sexual battery, battery against a police officer, obstruction, and assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism, and now stands accused of murdering [DHS] employee Lauren Bullis by shooting and stabbing her while she walked her dog,” Mullin stated.

“These acts of pure evil have devastated our department, and my prayers are with the families of the victims.”

It remains unclear if Adon-Abel’s prior convictions occurred before his arrival in the US.

Investigators have not determined a motive for the killing spree, but the victims appeared to be targeted randomly.
