Anderson Opens Up About Relationship with Duchovny on Table Manners Podcast
Gillian Anderson recently appeared on the Table Manners podcast, where she delved into the complexities of her relationship with former co-star David Duchovny.
Describing their bond as “complex,” Anderson reflected on the intense working relationship they shared during their time on The X-Files. “You know, when you work that intensely with somebody for such a long time. I mean we were basically married to each other,” she shared.
Despite their on-screen chemistry and close working relationship, Anderson revealed that she has gained new insights into Duchovny through his podcast. “I’ve listened to his podcast a fair number of times, and I think it’s good, it’s interesting. It’s interesting hearing a man talk so openly about emotional things. I feel like I’ve learned more about him listening to his podcast than from working with him,” she admitted.
The X-Files was a groundbreaking sci-fi TV show that captivated audiences for nine seasons. However, the show came to an end when ratings began to decline, marking the conclusion of Mulder and Scully’s iconic partnership.
