Gleb Savchenko has decided to withdraw from the upcoming Dancing With the Stars live tour due to multiple factors.
“It’s a transition,” Savchenko, 42, disclosed to Us Weekly during the 2025 Gurus Awards, organized by Gurus Magazine, on Sunday, October 12. “It’s great to have had such a wonderful season. I won’t be going on the tour. Instead, I plan to visit my daughters—who are in Hong Kong—for a few weeks during the holiday season, and I’m focusing on myself.”
Savchenko—who shares daughters Olivia, 14, and Zlata, 8, with his ex-wife, Elena Samodanova—and his season 34 partner, Hilaria Baldwin, were eliminated from Dancing With the Stars after Disney Night on October 7.
While they are expected to return for the finale week, Savchenko says this gives him time to focus on endeavors outside the dance floor.
Gleb also shared, “Many people may not realize that I’m quite spiritual. I meditate daily,” he told Us at an event hosted by Derek Warburton at the Cicada Restaurant & Lounge in Los Angeles. “For the past three years, I’ve followed Joe Dispenza. I’m attending his retreat in December and am very excited. I’m inspired by the Monroe Institute and am dedicated to my self-improvement. I’m also focused on my acting career; I’m actively auditioning and studying at the Lesly Kahn School for Acting, taking it seriously.”

He also mentioned that he recently participated in auditions for ABC’s General Hospital.
As he awaits outcomes from those auditions, he expresses gratitude for the encouragement he has received from his Dancing With the Stars family.
“Elaine [Hendrix] and Danielle [Fishel] have been sharing some acting advice,” he jokingly added. “Everyone has been just fantastic.”
Regarding his personal life, Savchenko is currently not seeking a romantic relationship. Following a high-profile breakup from former partner Brooks Nader, the dancer is enjoying his time alone.

“I’m single right now. There’s no dating going on,” he told Us. “We sometimes fear being alone, but overcoming that fear allows you to truly enjoy your own company. That’s when the magic occurs… I’m on a positive path, taking meaningful steps forward. I feel very happy—perhaps the happiest I’ve ever been. I’m truly at peace.”
Even though audiences won’t be seeing Savchenko and Baldwin, 41, competing any further, they both reflect warmly upon their shared experiences.
Baldwin even offered Us an exclusive sneak peek into her planned performance for Dedication Night, which is set to air on Tuesday, October 14, before her exit from the competition.
Baldwin remarked, “We were set for a fantastic performance. We had planned to dedicate it to [my husband] Alec, who would have had a significant role in it,” during her conversation with Us at the Gurus Awards. “It would have been like Saturday Night Live meets Dancing With the Stars. It would have been epic.”
Baldwin added, “We had prepared in advance; Alec had already come to film. They should arrange for a guest performance unrelated to the competition.”
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
