The Golden State Warriors are set to face off against the Orlando Magic in an interconference matchup at the Kia Center tonight. The Warriors are coming into this game on a three-game winning streak, all of which were impressive victories on the road. On the other hand, the Magic had their three-game winning streak snapped by the Houston Rockets in their last game.

When it comes to the head-to-head record between these two teams, the Warriors hold a 23-19 advantage over the Magic. Steph Curry and the Warriors have not lost to Orlando in almost three years, currently enjoying a four-game winning streak against the Eastern Conference team.

Let’s take a look at the starting lineups for both teams for tonight’s game.

Golden State Warriors Starting Lineup:

All four veteran players for the Warriors are available to play in this game, which is the first of a back-to-back. Al Horford, who is on a restriction of not playing on consecutive nights, will suit up against the Magic but will sit out the next game against the Miami Heat. The experienced forward will provide a scoring punch off the bench.

The core of the Warriors’ starting lineup includes Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green. Moses Moody has solidified his spot as a starter, while rookie Will Richard continues to impress alongside Curry and the other starters.

Warriors Starting Lineup:

  • PG: Steph Curry, Pat Spencer
  • SG: Moses Moody, Buddy Hield, Brandin Podziemski
  • SF: Will Richard, Gary Payton II
  • PF: Jimmy Butler, Jonathan Kuminga*, Quinten Post
  • C: Draymond Green, Al Horford, Trayce Jackson-Davis

    Orlando Magic Starting Lineup:

The Magic’s starting lineup may see a change if Jalen Suggs is cleared to play. Suggs missed the last game against the Rockets but could make his return tonight. In case he is sidelined again, Anthony Black will start in the backcourt alongside Desmond Bane.

Franz Wagner, who recently suffered a fractured nose, is available to play and will feature on the wing along with Tristan da Silva. Wendell Carter Jr. will anchor the frontcourt from the center position.

    Magic Starting Lineup:

  • PG: Tyus Jones, Jase Richardson
  • SG: Anthony Black, Jett Howard
  • SF: Franz Wagner, Tristan Da Silva
  • PF: Tristan da Silva, Jonathan Isaac
  • C: Wendell Carter Jr., Goga Bitadze

    Injury Reports:

The Warriors have a relatively clean bill of health with the exception of Jonathan Kuminga and De’Anthony Melton. Kuminga is out with bilateral knee tendonitis, while Melton is recovering from a knee injury.

On the other hand, the Magic have a longer injury list. Paolo Banchero and Mo Wagner are out with injuries, while Jalen Suggs is questionable for tonight’s game. Jamal Cain, Colin Castleton, and Orlando Robinson are with the G League team.

As the Warriors and Magic gear up to face each other, it promises to be an exciting matchup between two talented teams. Stay tuned for what should be a thrilling game of basketball.
