The upcoming Google Pixel 10 smartphone is anticipated to bring about some significant improvements when it launches in August, but it may also come with some notable exclusions.
As reported by Android Headlines, one of the omissions in the Google Pixel 10 will be the absence of a vapor cooling chamber. This means that the phone may not perform as efficiently as the Pixel 10 Pro, even though both devices will be powered by the same Tensor G5 chip.
Additionally, another noteworthy exclusion from the Pixel 10 will be the lack of Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Interestingly, this marks a downgrade from the previous Pixel 9 model, which did support this advanced network technology.
In terms of the camera features, while the Pixel 10 is expected to include a dedicated telephoto camera, it will not support the new Ultra Res Zoom or ultra-stable video recording capabilities that are expected to be introduced in the Pixel 10 Pro. The Ultra Res Zoom feature will offer AI-enhanced zoom capabilities beyond the existing Super Res Zoom’s 8x zoom, while the ultra-stable video recording will involve a new gimbal stabilization system in the Pro models.
Furthermore, the design of the Pixel 10 will differ from the Pixel 10 Pro, with matte sides and a glossy back instead of the Pro model’s glossy sides and matte back. This distinction in design was also seen in the Pixel 9 lineup.
Google is rumored to unveil the Pixel 10 smartphone range on August 20, with availability expected to follow on August 28. Stay tuned for more updates on the latest features and specifications of the Google Pixel 10.
