The Pixel 10 series, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, offers a range of new capabilities that are worth exploring.

If you are upgrading to a Pixel phone for the first time or are a long-time user, there are some handy tips and tricks that can help you get the most out of your device. From camera upgrades to new software features, here is a rundown of some of the top tips and tricks for the Pixel 10 series.

1. Turn Pro Res Zoom on or off:
If you have the Pixel 10 Pro or 10 Pro XL, you can take advantage of the Pro Res Zoom feature, which enhances the telephoto capture magnification up to 100x. To enable or disable Pro Res Zoom, open the Camera app, tap on the Camera Settings icon, and navigate to Model download to download or uninstall the feature.

2. Create a Calling Card:
With the new Calling Cards feature, you can personalize full-screen posters for key contacts in your address book. Simply open the Contacts app, select a contact, and tap on the option to create a calling card. Choose a photo, font style, and color to customize the card and save it for future reference.

3. Check for AI-altered images with Content Credentials:
Google Photos now includes image provenance information to identify AI-altered images. Simply tap on an image in your gallery, swipe up to view details, and look for the “How this was made” section to see if the image was edited with AI tools.

5. Listen to this page:
The “Listen to this page” feature in the Chrome browser lets you listen to web pages instead of reading them. Simply tap on the three dots in the top-right corner of the browser and select the Listen to this page option to have the content read out loud.

Enhanced Now Playing on the Pixel 10 series automatically sources album art for recognized tracks, making it easier to identify music. Enable this feature in the Settings app under Now Playing to enhance your music listening experience.
