In summary:

  • According to Tech Advisor, leaked CAD renders have unveiled the designs for the Google Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL, anticipated to debut in August 2026 featuring the Tensor G6 chipset.
  • The designs present minor alterations from the Pixel 10 models, notably an all-black camera bar that replaces the previous metal segment.
  • A notable absence in the new designs is the infrared temperature sensor, potentially eliminating a unique aspect of the Pixel lineup.

Earlier this week, the regular Pixel 11 was unveiled, and now, designs for the Pixel 11 Pro have surfaced.

The design remains closely aligned with its predecessor, with the all-black camera bar being the primary noticeable change. Previously, the camera bar included a metal section around the flash on the right side.

However, a key Pro feature is missing in the CAD-based renders from Onleaks via Android Headlines, as well as for the XL model.

The images lack the temperature sensor, which typically resides within the camera bar, beneath the flash. Curiously, this omission has not been addressed by the site.

The infrared thermometer feature, though niche, is a rarity in smartphones, enabling users to measure temperatures through the Thermometer app, whether on metal surfaces, beverages, or other objects.

Otherwise, the Pixel 11 Pro closely resembles the Pixel 10 Pro, maintaining the same 152.7 x 71.8 dimensions and slightly reducing the thickness to 8.4mm.

The color depicted is not official (based on the current Moonstone colorway), but it seems to suggest a glossy frame, contrasting with the matte finish of the entry-level model.

The same details apply to the Pixel 11 Pro XL, as shown below.

Once more, the temperature sensor is absent, leaving just the flash, with no mention from the site about this change. It’s possible the CAD files overlooked this element, but it remains peculiar.

The color shown is unofficial and appears to be modeled on the Lavender Pixel 10a. The dimensions are 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5mm, matching the Pixel 10 Pro XL, but 0.1mm thinner.

Earlier in the month, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold design was leaked, leaving only the XL version, which is expected to be a larger variant of the 11 Pro.

The Pixel 11 series is poised to launch in August 2026, powered by the new Tensor G6 chipset. The Pro model is anticipated to retain its 6.3-inch display.

A significant question remains whether Google will increase the base storage to 256GB and if the phones will experience a price increase, similar to other models this year.
