Minor Pixel fixes
Alongside the security patch, the August update also includes two minor fixes. The first addresses an issue where the scheduled dark theme failed to activate under certain conditions. The second fix resolves problems with the back command in both three-button and gesture navigation in specific scenarios.
If you havenât received the update notification on your Pixel device, you can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > System > Software updates > System update. Google is rolling out the update in phases based on mobile network operators and device models.
This update is expected to be the final major firmware update before the launch of the Pixel 10 series on August 20. The new devices are anticipated to feature faster processors, an additional camera (in the case of the Pixel 10), and Qi2 compatibility.
