This autumn has been monumental for Greta Lee, who is affirming her fashion credentials while promoting Diotima, Eckhaus Latta, Colleen Allen, and other iconic New York labels for her recent film projects, including Tron: Ares, Late Fame, and A House of Dynamite.

In honor of her debut cover for Vogue, Lee has teamed up with bar consultant Don Lee to create a selection of six cocktails, each inspired by one of her all-time favorite films. The first drink she presents is a Bokbunja Yuja Sour, drawing inspiration from the 2003 masterpiece Memories of Murder by renowned South Korean director Bong Joon Ho, a film Lee felt resonated deeply with her. The second cocktail, The Yellow Last Word, pays homage to the beloved 1994 film Chungking Express by Wong Kar-wai, featuring less gin than you might expect, with Lee enthusiastically diving into her mixology.

“It feels strange to drink alone! Want to join me?” Lee suggests to Don, who graciously declines before assisting her in crafting the evening’s third concoction: a tiki-style Painkiller inspired by Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 adaptation of Romeo + Juliet. This delightful mix contains pineapple-infused rum, caramelized coconut, and a generous splash of rum. Curious about the remaining three cocktails and their cinematic inspirations? You’ll have to watch the video for the full reveal. After all, if you can’t enjoy a late night out at the bar with Greta Lee, this video serves as a pretty good substitute.
