Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Tips for Improving Bone Density After 50
As women age, bone density becomes a major concern, especially for those over 50. Gwyneth Paltrow recently shared some of her tips for maintaining strong bones and overall health as we get older.
One of Paltrow’s suggestions is to discuss potential estrogen supplementation with your doctor. Along with this, she recommends incorporating heavy weight training into your fitness routine to help reduce bone loss. Paltrow herself prefers to do weight training using a Lagree Pilates Reformer machine, which she describes as “very, very good.”
While talking about the importance of protein in combating age-related muscle loss and preventing bone loss, Paltrow humorously mentioned the need to “gag down protein 70 times a day.” She also highlighted bone broth as a source of protein that she enjoys, praising its benefits for gut health and its high collagen content.
“Bone broth is fantastic for your gut. It’s full of protein and collagen, all the things. I’ll have it as like a cup of tea in the afternoon. That’s my favorite way to have it,” shared Paltrow.
By following Paltrow’s advice on estrogen supplementation, weight training, and protein intake, women over 50 can improve their bone density and overall well-being. Incorporating these tips into your daily routine can help you stay strong and healthy as you age.
