Simone Biles recently took to TikTok to share details about her breast augmentation surgery, which she underwent on June 16. In the video, she candidly spoke about the pain she experienced post-surgery, debunking the myth that the procedure is painless.
She revealed, “You all lied, this s— hurts so bad. Your girl could not move by herself. So I did take the full two weeks, and I am glad I did because my recovery was rough.” Biles went on to explain that on the very first day after the surgery, she had to be physically lifted out of bed by her partner, Jonathan, and helped to the restroom.
As a professional athlete, Biles speculated that her muscular build may have contributed to the intense pain she felt during the recovery process. She mentioned that having the implants placed under the muscle added to the discomfort, making the whole experience more challenging than she had anticipated.
Despite the initial panic she felt when she saw the final results, with her new breasts appearing larger than expected, Biles eventually came to terms with her new look. She admitted, “They were up to my neck, and I did freak out, and I did talk to my doctor. I said take them out, they need to be smaller, they look like aliens. But now they are perfect.”
