âWe need to ensure that ICE operates with the same accountability as every other law enforcement agency in the country, rather than behaving as though they are above the law. They do not possess absolute immunity. The Supreme Court, unfortunately, reserved that for one individual: the president of the United States.â
âThis perspective contributes to the ongoing extremism we witness impacting the American populace, but it is crucial to recognize that this immunity does not apply to anyone else.â
