In Paris, significant transitions are happening as ten fashion houses reveal new artistic directions led by fresh talent. Recently, Jonathan Anderson launched his womenswear for Dior with an elaborate presentation that honored the brand’s prestigious legacy. Furthermore, debuts were made by Mark Thomas at Carven and Miguel Castro Freitas at Mugler. Today, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough will introduce their inaugural collection for Loewe, the revered Spanish leather brand that Anderson revitalized before moving to Dior. Brew a coffee and join our discussion on one of the most anticipated shows of the season.
I am absolutely obsessed with the campaign they launched a few weeks ago, shot by Talia Chetrit. The colors are stunning, playfully sensual, embracing the human form without clichés—each glance brings new excitement. I’m eager to see if this vibrance is reflected in today’s collection.
I found them delightful as well! They conveyed a sense of fun and true Loewe essence—whatever that signifies!—while feeling fresh and forward-thinking! It has me intrigued.
The guests are wearing relaxed tops paired with jeans or trousers in a manner that’s effortlessly chic and refreshing.
Could this be a sneak peek of what’s in store?!
The super casual vibe beautifully contrasts with the meticulously manicured French gardens.
Good morning, sunshine! Parker Posey dazzles in a vibrant yellow dress as she arrives.
So chic! I’m also captivated by her handbag 👀
Pedro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spanish film legend Pedro Almodóvar has arrived! He inspires me endlessly, and the first time I saw him up close was at what became Jonathan Anderson’s last show for Loewe last summer.
I love that we had the same response to his arrival!
Pedro!
This guestlist is bound to be star-studded!
Wake up and shine! It’s 5:21 a.m. in New York, and 2,300 viewers are tuned into the live stream on YouTube—I’m curious about which fellow early risers in the States are tuning in!
I hope my outie made it to the Loewe show!
Obsessed with Britt Lower from Severance!
Jack and Lazaro are about to unveil their latest vision for Loewe…
I think we just got a glimpse of the seating, and it looks incredibly stylish!
At a recent preview, I inquired about their experiences since relocating to Paris for Loewe. Lazaro shared, “We’ve rediscovered our passion for creative exploration. We forgot how much we love to play and innovate.” Jack added, “Back home, we were so preoccupied, it’s liberating to feel this freedom.”
It’s fascinating how a new environment can spark these feelings—similar to when traveling inspires us to create ideal routines even if just temporarily. I’m thrilled for their journey!
It’s 5:10 a.m. in New York, and I must say, the ambient sounds from the livestream—with birds chirping and distant cheers—create an ASMR-like atmosphere. The white box setup is so charming!
