Chi McBride Joins Cast of Netflix Series “I Will Find You”
Chi McBride has been cast in the upcoming Netflix series “I Will Find You,” Variety has learned exclusively. McBride joins previously announced lead Sam Worthington as well as cast members Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, Erin Richards, and Jonathan Tucker. Based on Coben’s novel of the same name, the official logline states, “An innocent father (Worthington) serving life for the murder of his own son receives evidence that his child may still be alive—and must break out of prison to find out the truth.”
McBride will play Max Williams, described as “a legend in the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force who will doggedly pursue the escaped con David Burrough (Worthington) no matter how much it rips his personal life apart.”
McBride’s recent TV credits include “This Is Us” at NBC, and “Hawaii Five-O” at CBS. He is also known for his roles in shows like “Boston Public,” “Pushing Daisies,” and for voicing Nick Fury in multiple animated Marvel projects. He has starred in films such as “Gone in 60 Seconds,” “I, Robot,” “Undercover Brother,” and “Let’s Go to Prison.” He is repped by Marks Law Group.
Coben is a co-creator and executive producer on “I Will Find You” via Final Twist Productions. Robert Hull is also a co-creator in addition to serving as executive producer and showrunner. Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, and John Weber also executive produce. “I Will Find You” is the latest series from Coben under his Netflix deal. He has also partnered with the streaming giant on the shows “Missing You,” “Fool Me Once,” “Stay Close,” “The Stranger,” “The Innocent,” “Gone for Good,” “Hold Tight” and “The Woods.” Upcoming projects include “Caught” and “Run Away” in addition to “I Will Find You.”
