Tragic Shooting at Turkish Hospital: Ex-Husband Murders Medical Secretary

In a shocking incident that has sent ripples of fear through the community, horrifying footage reveals a violent confrontation in a hospital where a man pursued his estranged wife before fatally shooting her. This appalling act of domestic violence occurred on the same day that the victim, Eser Karaca, had sought legal protection against her ex-husband, Atilla Ayintapli.

The 44-year-old Ayintapli has been charged with the murder of Karaca, a 42-year-old dedicated mother of two, in Kahramanmaras, located in south-central Turkey. According to reports from local media, the incident unfolded in May, and recent videos have surfaced, detailing the grim events of that day.

Disturbing footage acquired by NewsX shows Ayintapli, clad entirely in black, entering the hospital and making his way to his ex-wife’s office while carrying a concealed plastic bag. Tensions escalated as Karaca and a colleague attempted to protect themselves, but panic ensued when Ayintapli brandished a shotgun.

As Karaca desperately fled down a staircase, Ayintapli fired at her, hitting the defenseless woman while she instinctively raised her hands in a futile attempt to shield herself.

After Karaca fell to the ground, the shooter fired two additional shots before fleeing the scene. The harrowing clip shows horrified employees rushing to the scene, shrieking and weeping as they discover her lifeless body. Despite being rushed to the emergency room within the same hospital, Karaca succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.

Ayintapli managed to escape initially but was apprehended soon after. He faces additional charges for brandishing a weapon at a coworker during the incident. Currently, prosecutors are advocating for life imprisonment as he awaits trial.

This tragic murder occurred on the very day Karaca filed a restraining order against Ayintapli, who had been persistently pressuring her to reconcile despite a history of domestic abuse. Such events have ignited discussions about the urgent need for effective measures against domestic violence.
