An heartless individual shot a pellet gun at a woman holding a baby girl in Staten Island, as reported by the police.
The victim, a 42-year-old woman, was carrying a two-month-old infant outside 127 Jerome Avenue in Arrochar around 7 p.m. on Friday when the perpetrator fired the weapon from the passenger seat of a silver sedan, hitting the woman in the back, according to authorities.

The victim suffered minor injuries and declined medical attention. The NYPD could not confirm if the baby was harmed.
The suspect, seen in surveillance footage wearing a bright orange jacket, was last seen driving westbound on Evergreen Avenue, as per the police.
