‘Heated Rivalry’ Duo and ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Singers Debut at Met Gala

Fashion’s most anticipated evening has arrived as the Met Gala unfolds in New York City. Among the crowd of veteran attendees, several newcomers made their debut at this prestigious event, traditionally held on the first Monday of May.

Connor Storie and Hudson Williams, stars of the popular hockey romance series “Heated Rivalry,” were among those walking the Met Gala carpet for the first time, having gained fame earlier this year. Also making their inaugural appearance were breakout stars Ejae and Audrey Nuna from “K-Pop Demon Hunters.”

Storie, a 26-year-old actor from “Heated Rivalry,” turned heads with his first Met Gala appearance in a polka-dot halter-top ensemble designed by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent. He was seen leaving the Carlyle Hotel with a flowing trail of fabric around his neck. Styled by James Yardley and adorned with Tiffany and Co. brooches, Storie made a memorable impression by removing his jacket to showcase the halter details of his outfit, leaving his arms bare.

Hudson Williams, the other lead from “Heated Rivalry,” was seen departing his hotel in a white robe, reportedly with nothing underneath as he hinted to bystanders. His red carpet look featured a baby blue suit with black embellishments, complemented by a black cape-like fabric hanging from his waist. Eschewing a shirt, Williams displayed his abs in this custom Balenciaga ensemble styled by Anastasia Walker, with makeup and hair reflecting the influence of Darren Aronofsky’s “Black Swan.” Williams expressed to Vogue his desire for the look to pay homage to cinema.

Ejae opted for a silver theme, donning a sparkling column gown by Swarovski. “K-Pop Demon Hunters” achieved notoriety as Netflix’s most-watched film in 2025, catapulting Ejae and her fellow actors to stardom and the Oscars, where they won an Academy Award for their song “Golden.” Her co-star, Audrey Nuna, also made her first Met Gala appearance in a striking black-and-white splattered coat and hat crafted by designer Robert Wun.
