Authorities report that a cruise passenger, in a state of extreme intoxication, assaulted two children who were playing tag in a hallway of the ship.

David Crosby II, 44, allegedly attacked the children aboard the Carnival Glory cruise in Florida on Sunday. According to an affidavit acquired by People magazine, he was running alongside three children when he abruptly stopped and struck two of them.

Crosby reportedly hit one child in the face, causing a bleeding lip and head pain, and punched another in the stomach, as stated by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Security cameras on the ship recorded the incident, according to police.

Crosby was reportedly “heavily intoxicated” and later claimed to have no recollection of the event, as per the affidavit.

The ages of the children involved and their connection to Crosby, if any, remain unclear.

Crosby, who hails from Georgia, faces charges of child abuse and was taken into custody at the Brevard County Jail. Records indicate he was released after posting a $20,000 bond.
