The highly anticipated Her Universe Fashion Show is joining forces with Warner Bros. Discovery for a spectacular DCU superhero and villain-inspired runway event at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
Scheduled to take place on July 23 at 6 p.m. PT in the Harbor Ballroom of the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel, the Her Universe Fashion Show 2026 Presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience. This year’s event will showcase an array of designs exclusively inspired by characters from DC’s extensive library, a departure from previous shows that featured a mix of fandoms. Designers participating in the show will be challenged to draw inspiration from a singular, iconic brand, offering a fresh and exciting twist to the competition.
Among the highlights of the event, two talented designers will have the opportunity to collaborate with Her Universe on a special fashion collection. Actress and Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming show, stating, “It’s time for geek couture to take new heights. We are so excited to see how this year’s designers are inspired by DC. There are few franchises as popular as DC, and it’s a privilege to be inspired by this vast world. We’re so ready to take our show… ‘Up, up, and away!'”
For aspiring designers interested in showcasing their DCU-inspired couture creations, the submission portal will be open from March 27 to April 26. Official rules and submission guidelines can be found on the Her Universe website.
Last year’s Her Universe Fashion Show featured the theme “Defying Fashion: Fashion That Defies Expectations,” with designs inspired by various Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation franchises. The panel of judges included “Wicked” and “Wicked: For Good” star Melissa Bode and Variety’s Marc Malkin.
