President Donald J. Trump and his administration are launching a vigorous campaign aimed at dismantling what they describe as extensive fraud networks in Minnesota, allegedly cultivated under the oversight of inept Democratic leadership, including Governor Tim Walz and his so-called Radical Left allies.

Armed with disturbing footage from Nick Shirley and the diligent investigations by Alpha News, which have highlighted scams primarily involving the Somali community that have drained taxpayer resources, this administration is committed to a comprehensive crackdown on those who have taken advantage of the Democrats’ apparent lack of oversight to defraud hardworking citizens out of billions.

Actions Already Taken by the Administration:

  • The Department of Justice is currently conducting multiple extensive investigations into fraudulent practices linked to various Minnesota programs, including Feeding Our Future, Housing Stabilization Services, Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention programs, and Evergreen Recovery.

    • As of now, the DOJ has charged 98 individuals in Minnesota for fraud-related offenses — 85 of whom are of Somali descent, with 64 already convicted.
    • The DOJ has issued over 1,750 subpoenas, executed more than 130 search warrants, and conducted over 1,000 interviews with witnesses as part of its ongoing investigations.
    • Many locations highlighted in Shirley’s viral video are currently under investigation by the DOJ; one building prominently featured has already seen charges against 13 individuals for fraud.
    • The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating numerous health care and home care providers in the state suspected of fraudulent activities, bolstering their teams with forensic accountants and data analysts, and exploring potential connections to elected officials and terrorist financing.

  • The Department of Homeland Security is actively conducting door-to-door investigations at suspected fraud locations across Minnesota, with hundreds of officers already on the ground and more on the way.

    • In recent weeks, DHS has arrested over 1,000 undocumented immigrants as part of ongoing immigration enforcement operations. Additionally, during Operation Twin Shield earlier this year, DHS identified over 1,300 fraud-related findings from site visits in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and is currently reviewing which cases need further investigation, including potential refugee status and denaturalization.

  • The Department of Health and Human Services has frozen childcare payments and is now mandating receipts or photo evidence for all childcare-related payments across the nation. It is also enforcing a federal law that requires the repayment of Medicaid benefits incurred by sponsored immigrants from their sponsors. Furthermore, HHS is investigating Minnesota’s Head Start programs due to allegations of fraud involving illegal immigrants.
  • The Small Business Administration has halted all annual grant program payments in Minnesota. The agency has also suspended 6,900 borrowers in the state due to approximately $400 million in suspected fraudulent activity, effectively barring these individuals from all future loan programs, including disaster loans.
  • The Department of Housing and Urban Development has sent a team to Minnesota to investigate potential fraud in public housing assistance.
  • The Department of Labor is currently reviewing Minnesota’s Unemployment Insurance program with a focused approach.
  • The Department of Agriculture has demanded that Minnesota carry out recertification for its SNAP recipients to ensure compliance with eligibility requirements — a move that has faced inexplicable legal challenges from state officials.

President Trump has pledged decisive action, and his administration is following through with unprecedented investigations, freezes, and prosecutions involving multiple agencies. These complex fraud networks did not develop overnight on Tim Walz’s watch, and eradicating them necessitates thorough and meticulous efforts to gather evidence, secure convictions, and recover taxpayer dollars.

The Trump Administration is operating with urgency and resolve — and more results are anticipated soon.
