Lt. Mike Schilling stated on Friday that initial examinations of the body near the Frisco Peninsula at the Denver Water reservoir did not reveal any obvious signs of foul play. The location is near Interstate 70 and U.S. 6 west of Denver.

The Summit County Office of the Coroner is currently working on identifying the individual and notifying their family.

Deputies confirmed that the body discovery is not connected to the search for the driver of a stolen vehicle near Lake Dillon earlier in the day.
