During a Summer Soirée event held on the White House South Lawn, President Trump engaged a crowd of thousands, delivering remarks that included a comical dig at President Joe Biden’s frequent mishaps during his terms.
Prior to Trump’s speech, enthusiastic attendees ignited the atmosphere with chants of “USA, USA.” As he concluded his address, the crowd echoed the slogan, “Eight more years; Eight more years!”
“They were way out at that fence, and they’re coming back. They’re running,” Trump observed, noting the eager attendees—comprising cabinet members, senior aides, and political appointees—hurrying towards the stage to hear him speak.
“Don’t fall, please, nobody. We had an administration that fell a lot. We don’t want to have that,” he quipped, prompting a wave of laughter from the audience.
In stark contrast to Biden’s clumsy “Don’t jump” quip, Trump’s “Don’t fall” landed as a crowd-pleaser.
The president continued to poke fun at the Biden Administration, suggesting that they “wouldn’t have thought of” hosting such an event at the White House, emphasizing that “this has never been done before.” He hinted at the possibility of “eight more years” under a Trump presidency.

Trump: What a nice group. Look at them all coming back now. They were way out at that fence, and they’re coming back. They’re running. Don’t fall, please, nobody. We had an administration that fell a lot. We don’t want to have that. We don’t want to have any of that.
Well, I’m thrilled to welcome to the White House the thousands of proud American patriots. And that’s what you are, you’re patriots. You know we’ve never done this before. You know that, right? They didn’t do it. The previous administration wouldn’t have thought of doing it, but we’re going to do it for four more years, I don’t know, maybe eight more years, I don’t know. But we love you all. You’re really amazing, successful people all, and you just gave your heart and your soul. And we want every swing state, we won the popular vote by millions, we won everything you can win.
And now we have a successful country. Doesn’t it feel different? So different. So many people say I go away, and all over the world, they say, it feels different. The whole world feels different. So, it’s an honor. It’s a great honor, believe me, and we should all be happy about it because we’re bringing it back like nobody would have thought possible.
Throughout his address, the president continued to critique the Biden Administration, condemning what he described as its incompetence and anti-American policies.
In a boastful reflection of his foreign policy achievements, Trump remarked, “Six months ago, we had a nation that was as cold as ice.” He asserted, “The whole world was laughing at us, and they’re not laughing anymore, that I can tell you now.”
He labeled the Biden-Harris administration as “the most unsuccessful administration, maybe in the history of our country,” while highlighting his own economic successes, which include the creation of over half a million new jobs, trillions in foreign and private investments, and improved inflation metrics.
