The Southern Hoiho are gearing up for their second consecutive victory tomorrow as they hit the road to face off against the Mainland Pouakai at Cowles Stadium.

In a double-header round, the Pouakai have already played against the Northern Kahu in Auckland last night, potentially giving the Southern Hoiho an advantage.

Last week, the Southern Hoiho outplayed the Whai, securing their first win of the season with a score of 83-76. They displayed dominance on both ends of the court, showcasing a strong defensive presence and making key offensive plays when needed.

Key player Samantha Bowman has been a standout performer, consistently putting up impressive stats in the games leading up to tomorrow’s match. Paige Bradley, Ahlise Hurst, and Natalie Chou have also been instrumental in the team’s success so far.

Looking to avenge their previous loss to the Mainland Pouakai in round two, the Southern Hoiho will be aiming to maintain their momentum and secure another important win.

Despite a strong start in their previous encounter, the Southern Hoiho faltered in the final quarter, allowing the Mainland Pouakai to snatch a victory. Tomorrow’s game presents an opportunity for redemption and a chance to showcase their true potential.
