The highly anticipated rugby test between the All Blacks and France is set to take place at a packed stadium today.
CEO of Dunedin Venues, Paul Doorn, expressed his excitement about the city’s support for the event.
“The collaboration between the stadium, New Zealand Rugby, and the city is evident in the effort to provide the best fan experience,” said Mr. Doorn.
Reflecting on past successes, Mr. Doorn mentioned the significant economic impact of events like the All Blacks versus England match last year, which generated around $13 million in direct spending for the city.
As the city gears up for the test, festivities including bagpipe performances along Anzac Ave and various activities are planned for attendees to enjoy.
With a crowd of 29,000 expected at the stadium, Mr. Doorn advised arriving early to ensure a smooth experience.
Gates will open at 5pm.
