An investigation into a tragic incident in the Auckland suburb of Manurewa has been initiated following the death of a man from severe injuries today.
Authorities are currently working diligently to identify the individual responsible for the man’s untimely demise.
Paramedics rushed to a residence on Mahia Rd just before 10am this morning after receiving reports of a distressing situation.
According to Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers of the Counties Manukau CIB, the man was discovered in a critical state. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of emergency responders, he passed away at the scene.
“An intensive investigation will be conducted throughout the day as we strive to uncover the exact circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident and those involved,” stated Inspector Vickers.
In light of the tragedy, law enforcement officials have boosted their presence in the vicinity and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the event to come forward with information.
The authorities have refrained from disclosing the nature of the injuries that led to the man’s demise.
