As prices soar and inflation grips the nation, a palpable anger brews among the American populace. Recent polling indicates that a significant number of citizens are pointing fingers at Donald Trump for the current economic downturn.

In a rational world, one would expect a leader to address pressing crises. However, Donald Trump appears to have embarked on a different path, opting to target a fresh set of adversaries.
These new foes? A cohort of military veteran Democrats in Congress who have dared to remind service members of their constitutional obligations to resist unlawful orders from the president.
Trump’s fragile ego has been visibly rattled by these congressional figures who dare to question his purported authority.
Following this, Trump has allegedly directed the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division to scrutinize the other Democratic Congress members who participated in the infamous “illegal orders” video.
Senator Slotkin (D-MI) took to X to express her dismay:
It appears the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division has opened an inquiry into me, all because of a video President Trump found objectionable.
This targeted action from the President exemplifies why we produced that video in the first place. He’s engaged in weaponizing the federal government against those he perceives as threats, operating under the delusion that laws are optional for himself and his Cabinet. This legal harassment is nothing short of an intimidation tactic designed to silence dissent.
This situation goes beyond a mere video. It reflects a fundamental challenge to the America I believe in, and I refuse to let the FBI’s latest move deter me from advocating for our country and our Constitution.
In a similar vein, Senator Mark Kelly has also been contacted by the FBI, as have all House Democrats featured in the video.
