The BTS ARMY Global Virtual Membership on Weverse has unexpectedly been listed as sold out, sparking confusion among fans due to its online nature. This development comes just before the ARMY Membership Tour presale on Ticketmaster, leading many to draw a connection between the two events. The timing of this restriction, coinciding with the upcoming ticket rush, has further piqued interest and speculation among fans.

Questions have been circulating on social media about how an online membership can reach a sold-out status. One user commented, “How can a MEMBERSHIP be sold out?? like it’s not even the kit??” Since Weverse has not provided an explanation, fans have started to speculate about the reasons behind this sudden change.

One prevailing theory is that there has been a significant surge in presale sign-ups, surpassing expectations even before the January 18th deadline. Some fans also believe that HYBE may have underestimated the global demand for the tour, leading to a situation where presale entries outnumber available seats.

The decision to close the membership right before the ticketing process has raised eyebrows among ARMYs, as the membership has always been open in the past. Many fans are now concerned about the competitiveness of the ticketing process, with some expressing anxiety and stress about the upcoming pre-sale.

In related news, BTS has announced their massive 2026–2027 world tour schedule, encompassing 34 cities on five continents with 79 concerts scheduled so far. The tour kicks off in April with shows in Goyang and spans across Asia, North America, Europe, South America, and Australia, concluding in Manila in March 2027. Additional cities in Japan and the Middle East may be added to the tour, with tickets for ARMY Membership buyers opening on January 22.

Public sales for the tour will commence on January 24 across all markets, with details available on 2026BTS.COM and BTSWORLDTOUROFFICIAL.COM. Ticket prices have not been disclosed yet, but past tours have featured a wide range of prices based on location and seating.

In addition, BTS’ upcoming album, ARIRANG, caused a frenzy on January 16 when all vinyl editions on Weverse US sold out in approximately 20 minutes. The rapid sell-out included all versions, including individual member editions, further fueling excitement among fans.

Overall, the closure of the BTS ARMY Global Virtual Membership on Weverse has stirred speculation and anticipation among fans, setting the stage for what promises to be a highly competitive and eagerly awaited ticketing process for the upcoming world tour.
