
Denver experienced its coldest morning of the season so far, with temperatures dropping to around 22 degrees early Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The Denver International Airport weather stations recorded a temperature of 21.9 degrees just before 6 a.m. on Wednesday, as per weather service records.
This marks the coldest morning in Denver since April 19, when the temperature also hit 22 degrees, according to the weather service.
Although Denver’s morning temperatures on Wednesday were about 10 degrees below average, they did not break the record low of -2 degrees set back in 1917, as per weather service data.

Most of the Front Range is currently under a freeze warning until 10 a.m., according to weather service forecasters.
