The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season continues with the highly anticipated Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway following the All-Star Race. The race, scheduled for Sunday, May 25, is set to be an exciting event as drivers take on the 400-lap challenge at the 1.5-mile quad-oval track.

This year’s Coca-Cola 600 boasts a lucrative prize pool of $13,651,450, with all 40 drivers competing for a share of the rewards. The winner of the race is expected to receive a substantial monetary incentive, with estimates suggesting a payout between $1,092,116 to $1,365,145, which accounts for 8 to 10 percent of the total purse.

The race will be broadcast live on Prime Video and PRN radio, providing fans with the opportunity to witness the thrilling on-track action as drivers battle it out for victory. Practice and qualifying sessions will precede the main event on Saturday, offering a glimpse into the competitive landscape of the race.

In addition to the prize money for the winner, the remaining amount from the total purse will be distributed among the charter teams based on their finishing positions. With the introduction of the charter system in NASCAR, individual payouts per position are no longer publicly disclosed, adding an element of intrigue to the distribution of rewards.

The Charlotte Motor Speedway has a rich history of hosting NASCAR Cup Series races, with a long list of past winners dating back to 1960. From legends like Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt to modern-day stars like Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson, the track has witnessed some memorable moments in NASCAR history.
