Greed Machine: Sarah Ferguson Shopping Around Memoir to Rival Prince Harry’s, Spare So She Can Pocket Millions
Reports have surfaced that Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is shopping around for a memoir that will rival Prince Harry’s, as she aims to pocket millions regardless of the consequences it may have on her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.
Interestingly, Ferguson’s daughter, Princess Beatrice, 37, may play a pivotal role in helping her mother achieve her writing aspirations. She has offered Ferguson a converted cattle shed on her expansive Cotswolds property. This “granny flat” has been meticulously refurbished, boasting new doors, windows, and a private entrance, all separated from the main six-bedroom house by a charming courtyard.
Sources close to Ferguson reveal that she is giving serious thought to moving into the converted cattle shed and using it as a dedicated writing retreat. However, there is also speculation about the possibility of Ferguson relocating to Portugal, where her other daughter, Princess Eugenie, 35, owns a lavish $4.2 million mansion in the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club. This elite development, often dubbed the “Hamptons of Europe,” is home to numerous A-list celebrities, including Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Michael Fassbender, and Scarlett Johansson.
One source shared, “No one can predict how long Ferguson will stay in Portugal if she decides to escape there. Nevertheless, if her stay becomes long-term, she is expected to seamlessly integrate into the glamorous scene, given the influx of celebrities purchasing properties in the region.”
On the other hand, another insider suggested that Ferguson would be “far better off” choosing the converted cattle shed as her writing retreat. They emphasized the importance of Ferguson immersing herself in her work to establish a secure financial foundation for herself.
