Rockstar Games has announced the upcoming release of GTA Online’s new DLC, Agents of Sabotage, set to launch on December 10, 2024. Players on PS4 and PS5 have the opportunity to pre-load the patch ahead of its official release date, allowing them to be prepared for the new content.
To manually pre-load the new DLC on your PlayStation console, follow these steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the Grand Theft Auto V icon on your PS4/PS5’s main menu
Step 2: Click the Options button on your controller (DualShock 4/DualSense)
Step 3: Select “Check for Update” from the available options
Once you’ve initiated the download, the system will search for available patches and begin downloading them. The pre-load file size is approximately 6 GB on PlayStation 5 and 2 GB on PlayStation 4. You can monitor the download progress by checking the Downloads section on your PS4 or Downloads/Uploads on your PS5.
It’s important to note that even after downloading the pre-load file, access to the new content will only be granted once the update officially goes live on December 10, 2024, at 2 am PT. The update will introduce a new purchasable property, the Darnell Bros Garment Factory, a new business, new vehicles like the Bravado Banshee GTS, and potentially a new El Strickler Military Rifle exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players.
Players are advised to stay informed about the expected release time of the GTA Online DLC to ensure they can dive into the new content as soon as it becomes available. Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC users will have access to the update once it is officially released tomorrow.
