The reunion of Age of Attraction has arrived, but Netflix audiences may be surprised to learn that this special episode isn’t available on the platform. The dating show, which debuted in March, focuses on couples with notable age differences as they explore new relationships. The show is divided into three segments, with the first set of episodes highlighting initial connections, followed by couples making commitments, exploring deeper bonds, and ultimately deciding to either continue or end their relationships.
Although a reunion was scheduled for release on Wednesday, April 1, it will be hosted by Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy on the “Viall Files” podcast, and not on Netflix, despite the first episode being available on the platform. The reunion’s first trailer features stars such as Andrew, Chris, John, Logan, Derrick, Libby, Vanessa, Theresa, and Leah. Notably absent is Pfeifer, while Vanelle and Jorge appear, even though they left the show early.
Before the show’s premiere, the finalists discussed the backlash it received. Andrew explained to Us Weekly that the initial response was strong due to a lack of information. “The concept made people think, ‘Oh, my God, here we go. A bunch of old and creepy guys with young girls,'” he remarked. Andrew praised Netflix for clarifying the show’s true nature through trailers.
Andrew also hinted that the show would explore dynamics in both directions, with older women paired with younger men and vice versa. He acknowledged some ongoing criticism but noted that many are intrigued and eager to see how it all unfolds.
Libby, Andrew’s partner on the show, shared a similar perspective regarding the criticism. She hoped viewers would approach her with an open mind, given the stereotype of a young, naive girl with an older man. Libby, who is 16 years younger than Andrew, said she didn’t feel their age difference was significant and found many similarities with Andrew. “I understand your concerns 100 percent but I don’t find our relationship concerning,” she stated.
Age of Attraction is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
