Family Guy continues to be a fan favorite as it gears up to premiere more exclusive specials for Hulu, in addition to the Fox episodes that are already available for streaming. During a recent panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, the Family Guy team announced exciting news for fans – new Halloween and holiday editions of the show are in the works for Hulu.
The first of these exclusive episodes is set to premiere on Monday, Oct. 6, with a Halloween special titled “A Little Fight Music.” The episode follows Brian and Stewie as they realize there is a shortage of quality Halloween songs and set out to write a hit. Meanwhile, Peter and the guys discover that lying about trick or treating can have deadly consequences.
It’s worth noting that these specials are separate from the upcoming Season 24 of Family Guy, which is scheduled to premiere on Fox in 2026 before making its way to Hulu for streaming. This new batch of Hulu specials follows the success of previous exclusive episodes like last year’s Halloween special “Peter, Peter Pumpkin Cheater” and the holiday event “Gift of the White Guy.”
During the Comic-Con panel, the cast and executive producers shared some insights into what fans can expect in the upcoming episodes. Clips from the show teased satiric jabs at various pop culture figures and events, including Jeffrey Epstein, Lauren Boebert, and Eddie Murphy. Additionally, viewers can look forward to Lois discovering for the first time that Stewie can talk.
The panel also featured some fun moments, including comedian Matt Friend and Alex Borstein re-enacting a famous Coldplay moment and performing a parody of “Me and Mrs. Jones” as Michael Bublé and Lois Griffin. Family Guy, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, has become a cult favorite among fans, with its talking baby character earning a place as one of the greatest TV characters of all time.
Family Guy is produced by 20th Television Animation, with Seth MacFarlane serving as creator and executive producer. Rich Appel and Alec Sulkin are executive producers and showrunners, while a talented team of writers and producers round out the creative crew behind the show. Fans can look forward to more exclusive content on Hulu as Family Guy continues to entertain audiences with its unique brand of humor and satire.
