Hulu recently unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated Season 4 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” giving fans a sneak peek ahead of the series’ premiere on March 12. The upcoming season will consist of 10 episodes and will be available on Hulu in the U.S. and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers, with select international availability on Disney+.
Season 4 will follow the #MomTok sisterhood as they navigate fame, competition, and personal challenges. With Taylor announced as “The Bachelorette” and Jen and Whitney competing on “Dancing With the Stars,” tensions rise, rivalries flare, and traditions are challenged. The women must confront unraveling marriages, family secrets, and personal demons, forcing them to rely on each other to prevent their sisterhood from falling apart.
The cast of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” includes Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Draper, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Miranda Hope, and Whitney Leavitt, all of whom also serve as executive producers alongside Jeff Jenkins, Russell Jay-Staglik, Andrea Metz, and Dan Cerny of Jeff Jenkins Productions. The series is produced by Jeff Jenkins Productions in association with 3BMG and Walt Disney Television Alternative.
In other programming news, MS NOW has partnered with Crooked Media to bring the podcast company’s popular audio portfolio to television with a new weekly series called “Crooked on MS NOW.” The hourlong compilation program will debut on Feb. 28 and will air on Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET. The series will feature highlights from Crooked Media’s top podcasts, including Pod Save America, Pod Save the World, Strict Scrutiny, Lovett or Leave It, and more.
Additionally, Adult Swim is expanding its animated lineup with “My Two Cars,” a new quarter-hour comedy from co-creators Dan Licata and Joe Pera. The series follows Keith Asshole, an Ohioan faced with the daily dilemma of choosing which of his two beloved cars to drive. Licata will voice the character of Keith in the series, which promises a mix of humor and relatable situations.
On the trailer front, Apple TV released a preview for “Imperfect Women,” a psychological thriller starring and executive produced by Kerry Washington and Elisabeth Moss. The eight-episode limited series, based on Araminta Hall’s novel, delves into a crime that strains the friendship of three women over several decades. The ensemble cast also includes Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, and Corey Stoll.
“Imperfect Women” is a co-production of 20th Television and Apple Studios, with Moss, Washington, and Hall among the executive producers. The series is created and showrun by Annie Weisman, known for her work on the critically acclaimed series “Physical.”
