During a Channel 5 debate with white nationalist Nick Fuentes, Biden expressed his admiration for Gavin Newsom, saying, “No, I think that there are a lot of people. I mean, I know that you think you’re going to laugh at me, but I personally like Gavin Newsom a lot.” He added that Newsom’s beliefs are genuine, regardless of whether people agree with them.

Biden also commended Massie for his “principled stand as it relates to the Epstein files,” describing it as “incredibly courageous.”

Biden commented further, “And that’s why he’s not going to be a congressman anymore, but that’s why you know he could potentially make a really strong national candidate.”

The Kentucky representative offered a non-specific response to Biden’s remarks on Saturday. He announced in May, shortly after his defeat, that he had filed with the [Federal Election Commission] for the 2028 House race, positioning himself as a potential candidate for federal office.
