A recent court filing reveals that Hunter Biden has allegedly been avoiding communication with his 7-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, whom he shares with ex-stripper Lunden Roberts. Lunden Roberts is now seeking legal action to compel Hunter Biden to engage with his child.
According to the court documents, Hunter Biden, 55, has been described as “classless” for not allowing his daughter to select one of his artworks to keep, as per their 2023 settlement agreement.
Lunden Roberts reopened a child support case in Arkansas, accusing Hunter Biden of not upholding their settlement agreement and requesting that he be held accountable for his actions.
The court filing states that despite numerous attempts by Lunden Roberts for Hunter Biden to communicate with their daughter, known as MC1 (minor child 1), he has consistently ignored her requests.
In the legal documents, Lunden Roberts asserts that Hunter Biden was supposed to give MC1 a specific number of paintings he had created, which she had chosen. However, MC1 has not received any of the selected artworks, only those chosen by Hunter Biden himself.
Lunden Roberts is now seeking the court’s intervention to enforce this part of their agreement, as she believes that Hunter Biden’s artworks are crucial for MC1 to establish a connection with her father and his family.
Despite the initial positive interactions between MC1 and Hunter Biden, their communication ceased abruptly after Lunden Roberts published a book that did not criticize him. This sudden withdrawal reportedly caused emotional distress to MC1.
Lunden Roberts claims that Hunter Biden must have pretended to feel guilty about not being present in MC1’s life to reduce his support payments. She also agreed to drop her request for MC1 to take the Biden surname as part of the 2023 agreement.
After initially denying paternity, Hunter Biden’s relationship with MC1 was confirmed through a court-ordered DNA test in 2019.
Lunden Roberts is now seeking increased support payments from Hunter Biden and believes that legal action is necessary to ensure his compliance with their agreement.
Despite the challenges faced by MC1 due to Hunter Biden’s absence, she remains hopeful of reuniting with her father in the future.
At the same time, MC1 is beginning to realize the disparity in lifestyle compared to her half-siblings, given Hunter Biden’s controversial past involving substance abuse and legal issues.
Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s only living son, has four other children from previous relationships. His tumultuous history includes drug use, legal troubles, and pardons.
Legal representatives for both Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts have not responded to requests for comment at this time.
