Payload is a challenging new gamemode in Hunty Zombie that is designed for veteran players. Whether you choose to play solo or team up with five other players, the objective remains the same – safely escort a bus to the finish line while battling hordes of zombies and bosses. The key to success in Payload lies in skillful teamwork and strategic use of your abilities to eliminate the undead threats.
To kickstart your Payload adventure, head to the Play area, click on Mode, and select Payload from the options available. The difficulty of the match will adjust based on the number of players in your party. Currently, the City map is the only location available for the Payload mode. Once you spawn on this map, you’ll find a white bus surrounded by zombies. Your goal is to protect the bus until the progress bar reaches 100%.
The zombies you’ll encounter in Payload mode come in various forms, including knife-throwing and venom-spitting zombies, as well as powerful bosses like the School Master. What sets Payload apart is that the undead can attack from any direction, keeping you on your toes throughout the gameplay. In addition to fending off zombies, you’ll also need to complete tasks like fixing punctured tires and clearing obstacles from the bus’s path.
If the bus gets destroyed, the mission fails, but if you successfully complete the objective, you’ll earn 40 to 60 Payload coins as a reward. These coins can be used in the Payload Shop to purchase emotes, cosmetics, and pets. Some of the items available in the Payload Shop include emotes like Kazotsky Kick and Rock Paper Scissors, as well as useful items like Lucky Weapon Spins and Traits 10x.
One of the top priorities in the Payload Shop is the Cosplay Pet, which boosts your damage, critical damage, and skill damage, making it a valuable asset in Raids. To excel in Payload mode, consider using meta close-ranged weapons like Shoes, Ghost, and Halloween Sword, pick up health and energy boosts during gameplay, and focus on enhancing your weapon’s critical rate and damage.
