Interstate 270 in Adams County has been reopened after authorities responded to a mental health crisis on the York Street bridge, officials confirmed on Tuesday night.
The individual in crisis was safely removed from the bridge and on the ground by 6:37 p.m., as reported by Adams County Fire Rescue.
Although Colorado State Patrol initially indicated that I-76 was shut down in both directions due to the situation, the highway had reopened by 6 p.m., according to CDOT.
