Disgraced influencer Brian “Liver King” Johnson shocked his followers by staging his own arrest in a bizarre video posted on Instagram. The clip showed Johnson being handcuffed by faux cops in a fake sting operation, only for him to later confess that it was all just a prank.
The 47-year-old YouTuber, who is currently facing charges for allegedly making terroristic threats against podcaster Joe Rogan, seemed to think the arrest hoax would be funny. This stunt comes just days after Johnson was actually arrested for real after traveling to Rogan’s hometown of Austin, Texas, and posting threatening videos aimed at the podcast host.
In the staged arrest video, Johnson’s ankle monitor, a condition of his bond, was clearly visible. He had been released from Travis County Jail with the requirement to stay at least 600 feet away from Rogan and his family.
The troubled influencer had posted videos on social media challenging Rogan to a fight, despite admitting he had no training in jiu-jitsu and acknowledging that Rogan was a black belt. Rogan, on the other hand, claimed he had never met Johnson and was unsure why he was being targeted.
Johnson, who had previously claimed his muscular physique was a result of eating raw organs and testicles, was forced to admit in 2022 that he had used steroids to achieve his look. Prior to that, he had promoted his diet of raw meat, liver, and fertilized chicken eggs as the reason for his impressive physique.
While Johnson has never been a guest on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” his name has come up on the show in discussions about performance-enhancing drugs. Despite his controversial past and current legal troubles, Johnson continues to attract attention for his outlandish behavior and attention-seeking stunts.
