Suablack Tor Pran49 of Thailand has learned some tough lessons from previous setbacks, teaching him the importance of staying tactical throughout the entire fight. This Friday, he will once again rely on his analytical mindset as he faces off against the undefeated Japanese kickboxer Hyu at ONE Fight Night 41.

Entering his flyweight debut, Suablack will be up against the 22-year-old Japanese fighter who has impressed with a 4-0 record in the world of martial arts. Hyu’s flashy arsenal and aggressive style have made him a favorite among fans, with his most recent victory being a knockout of Jordan Estupinan at ONE Fight Night 35.

Despite the hype surrounding his opponent, Suablack understands the dangers of rushing in blindly against Hyu. Instead, the 29-year-old veteran plans to use his experience and instincts to hand Hyu his first defeat. In a pre-fight interview with ONE Championship, Suablack stated, “I’m going to fight with IQ. From what I’ve seen, people who try to brawl with Hyu usually get countered and knocked out. I’m not going to play into his hands by being overly aggressive. I need to keep it tight and controlled.”

Fans can watch the action unfold live on March 13 from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, with ONE Fight Night 41 being free for Prime Video subscribers in North America.

Looking ahead, Suablack has been eyeing a move to the flyweight division for some time. Now that he has made the transition, he is determined to build momentum and eventually challenge for the flyweight kickboxing title. Before he can think about title contention, Suablack must put an end to Hyu’s winning streak. He expressed his confidence in the move to flyweight, saying, “I’m confident that this move to flyweight will be seamless. My weight, my training, and my self-care are all perfect. I’ve only got maybe four or five years left in this sport, and I want to go as far as I can.”

With his sights set on a title run in his new division, Suablack is ready to showcase his skills and make a statement in the flyweight ranks. The journey begins with a showdown against Hyu, where he will look to prove that experience and strategy can overcome youth and aggression in the world of kickboxing.

As Suablack prepares for this pivotal moment in his career, fans can expect an exciting clash of styles and a display of high-level kickboxing skills. Stay tuned for what promises to be a thrilling matchup between two talented fighters on the rise.
