New Delhi:
India has reached out to key countries such as the US, Russia, the UK, and Saudi Arabia to inform them about the recent military strike on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, sources revealed on Wednesday.
The strikes were conducted in response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
“Indian officials have briefed their counterparts in various countries about the actions taken by India,” a source stated.
“Countries like the US, the UK, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Russia have been informed,” the source added.
These actions were taken following the brutal Pahalgam terrorist incident that resulted in the tragic deaths of 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen, causing widespread condemnation both domestically and internationally.
“We are committed to ensuring that those responsible for this heinous attack are held accountable,” the defense ministry affirmed in a statement.
