The Elite Escape to Urban Dunes – Manhattan’s Exclusive Indoor Sandbox

Forget the public sandboxes, the privileged kids of Manhattan now have a luxurious indoor sandpit to frolic in, away from the grimy realities of the city.

Urban Dunes, touted as “NYC’s Only Indoor Sandbox,” beckons with its three themed “Sandventure” rooms where kids can play for 90 minutes at a cost of $30.

The meticulously maintained sandpits – Dino Land, Golden Beach, and Construction Zone – come equipped with specially curated toys to ensure a germ-free playtime experience.

Concerned Upper East Side mom Natalie Barzilai expressed relief at the cleanliness of Urban Dunes, highlighting the sanitary issues that plague public sandboxes.

Urban Dunes, situated on East 91st Street, offers Manhattan parents a safe and climate-controlled environment for their children to enjoy the sensory joys of sand, especially during the winter months.

Vana Kozlina, the Manager at Urban Dunes, noted the lack of sand play options in the borough and emphasized the importance of providing a hygienic and fun space for kids.

While public sandboxes in city parks undergo regular maintenance, many parents remain skeptical about their cleanliness, prompting them to seek out alternative play areas like Urban Dunes.

With daily sandpit raking and toy sanitization protocols in place, Urban Dunes ensures a pristine play environment free from outdoor contaminants.

Parents entering the sandboxes are required to sign waivers attesting to their children’s health and absolving Urban Dunes of any liabilities.

For some parents like Jane Kim, Urban Dunes provides a safe haven away from the questionable conditions of public sandpits, offering a cleaner and controlled play setting.

On the other hand, parents like Seah Kim are more relaxed about public sandpits but appreciate the convenience and cleanliness of Urban Dunes as an indoor play option.

Discover the joy of sand play without the worries of outdoor dirt at Urban Dunes, where Manhattan’s elite youngsters can indulge in a premium play experience.
